Hello world!

Woah another update! Crazy times. I have nothing to really add though. I watched the new Star Wars today, which wasn’t particularly good, and I’m also very much still in a writing mood. I want to finish my short story about the train station and then maybe attempt something longer. I could also try and finish the screenplay I started writing months ago, about a man who moves to Japan. That script was just getting a bit boring unfortunately. I might try and revisit it with fresh eyes though. I could make something that I end up enjoying.

In general though, I feel pretty good. About most things. I have a week and a half until I go to Barcelona for Primavera, and I think I’m doing fine for money. I’m just stressing a bit about what comes after Primavera, because it’s so vague. I basically need to survive until my visa gets sorted, but it could take weeks to months. I have no idea. It’s hard to plan around when there’s absolutely zero specifics. I have savings, and an overdraft if really needed, and I have friends that I could come home to and bother them. Ideally I won’t need that last one. I think I don’t like relying on people, even though I know some people wouldn’t mind.

What next!? I actually don’t know. I feel like I’ve explored lots of Thailand and understood what it is. Obviously it’s a massive country and there’s thousands upon thousands of things here, but I think I got the general jist of it. It’s a fascinating place and I’ve met lots of amazing people, but it’s not somewhere I’d move to. It’s a good holiday destination though. I’m still set on Japan. I’m just going to loaf about now until Primavera I think. I’m not itching to do anymore touristy things.
