Digital Journal Entry
Hello world!
Life is about the little things. I had two lovely moments today that were quite small but they made me happy. I went to my third laser tattoo removal session, and on the walk I had some nice music in my ears and it was slightly raining, so there was that very specific smell of rain and grass. It’s hard to define but it was just so nice. I had a great little walk to the session, which itself was rough. Laser tattoo removal hurts like hell, but it’s only 30 minutes so it doesn’t matter much. The walk was one of my moments. The second came in the evening when I sat down with a full bottle of wine, curled up under a blanket and continued playing Resident Evil 9. It was good to relax even though I probably tend to be doing that a bit much.
I’ve been having a hard time recently because of the stress of sorting stuff out, but today was good because I had some nice moments alongside some chores getting done. I’m cleaning my flat and throwing stuff out, which might take a short while because I need to get rid of my desk, but at least it’s getting done.
What else do I mention now?
I worked over the weekend, including a 19 hour shift! It was hard obviously, but I'm still grinding for money before I move. Work itself has been pretty fine. I feel less worried about people and less like everyone hates me, which I know is mostly in my head. Me and a colleague sorted out some long-standing beef, which was really nice to do. She’s a lovely person, and I’m glad that has been squashed.
What else? I’m just working like normal and getting ready for moving. I will continue playing Resident Evil 9 also, which so far is a fairly standard Resident Evil game. That means it’s pretty great. A weird franchise because it never reaches brilliance but it’s always just a really good time, which is more than I can say about most games.
Anyway thanks for reading.
