Digital Journal Entry

Hello world!

I just wrote a huge journal entry and then deleted it all, because as I was finishing it, I realised I’m going to expand my website. I’m coming to social media!

Summer 2026 for me is going to be insane, and I want to document it all. At the very end of April I’m flying to Paris where I begin a several month adventure around Europe with not a single plan in mind. I want to visit Vienna, Prague, Rome and a bunch of other places, but I won’t think about it too much. I’m bringing a big backpack and just getting on random coaches. It will be fun. I can’t wait.

After that I come back to the UK to collect my visa (this will be getting prepared while I travel) and then I jet off to Japan to teach English! I think I don’t have much to say about this, because everything I say will be pretty obvious. It’s a huge next chapter of my life, and it still doesn’t feel real. I don’t think it will feel real at all until I’m actually stood in my own apartment over there. Anyway.

Summer 2026 is a big Europe adventure followed by an even bigger Japan adventure, and while I have a job prepared over there, I still want to keep writing. If I document my travels on a semi-regular basis then my writing should hopefully improve and I can maybe one day get paid for this. I don’t want to say that I only want to write for the money, because it’s not true, but it would be amazing to do writing as a proper job in the distant future. I’m going to keep adding to my site, and hopefully people enjoy reading what I’m up to.

What else should I do? I might share some music I’ve been enjoying lately, which has been Bring Me The Horizon. Fun stuff.
