Digital Journal Entry
I am writing this before the big day; new years day. It’s been about a week since I last wrote an entry, which is annoying for me because I want to try and keep this semi-regular, but I’ve been busy! I have been doing lots of shifts at work, and saving up for the new years. I also saw my sister!
Yesterday I saw her and it was lovely. She has always been such a supportive person for me, and I honestly can’t say enough nice things about her. Especially when I was a kid living in a very conservative town. She was supportive of all my nail painting and hair dying. She was just a hugely supportive person in general, much better than my brothers who I don’t speak to anymore. We hung out with her kids, and it was fairly chill. I had to deal with kids saying “6-7” but they were so cute and adorable that it was worth it. I love my sister, and I’m glad I’m speaking to her more before I leave.
After seeing my sister, I went to town and drank with some friends. It was pretty standard and we had a nice time. It’s a weird feeling because I hate throwing my money away on a night out but I do like having a lovely time with my friends. I feel less guilty at the moment because it’s that weird bit before the new year, but in January I definitely want to stop. We’ll see if that happens though.
This journal was a bit uneventful and spontaneous, and I’m insanely drunk writing this, so thanks for reading and let me know if any of it was stupid. Thank you!
